Harris Broadcast Rounds Out Leadership Team, Naming CTO and CFO
Harris Broadcast today appointed Steve Reynolds as Chief Technology Officer and Skip Sorenson as Chief Financial Officer. Both will report to Charlie Vogt, CEO of Harris Broadcast, with Mr. Reynolds leading product management and research & development, and Mr. Sorenson responsible for finance and IT.

The addition of CTO and CFO follow executive management appointments by Mr. Vogt across Sales, Services and Human Resources and are part of his aggressive plan to strengthen the company’s global leadership as an independent company.
As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Reynolds will provide vision and leadership for the nearly 1,000 product and engineering team members as they collaborate with broadcast and communications service provider customers, and design and develop next generation multi-service technology. Mr. Reynolds joins Harris Broadcast from Comcast, where he served as Senior Vice President of Consumer Premises Technology, overseeing technology strategy, roadmap and development. Prior to Comcast, Mr. Reynolds was Senior Vice President of Technology at OpenTV, a world leader in digital and interactive television technology. His cable industry experience also includes executive level positions at ACTV, Intellocity and TV Guide.

Mr. Reynolds earned a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Widener University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from West Chester University. Mr. Reynolds is a member of the SCTE and has participated in numerous standards making bodies in the cable and digital video arenas.
As Chief Financial Officer at Harris Broadcast, Mr. Sorenson will be responsible for financial and IT operations. Prior to Harris Broadcast, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for CompuCom, a leading IT solutions provider. Before CompuCom, Mr. Sorenson was the CFO of Lineage Power, which was acquired by General Electric; and prior to Lineage, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at AECOM Technology, an Engineering and Architectural Services firm that went public in May 2007. He joined AECOM after serving as Executive Vice President and CFO at Vought Aircraft, an aerospace subcontractor.

Mr. Sorenson also worked for Dell Inc., holding several leadership positions in finance and internal audit, and spent 15 years in the aerospace and defense industry with AlliedSignal, McDonnell Douglas and Newport News Shipbuilding. Mr. Sorenson has an MBA as well as a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Old Dominion University in Virginia. He is a member of Financial Executives Institute (FEI).
