Media Update Alert: GatesAir Wins in Nepal
Cincinnati, OH, November 01, 2016
- GatesAir, a global leader in wireless, over-the-air content delivery solutions for radio and TV broadcasters, announces a susbtantial FM Radio win in Nepal.
- State-owned broadcaster Radio Nepal ordered 12 Flexiva FAX air-cooled transmitters, covering power levels up to 2kW to maximize coverage across the complex terrain of Nepal.
- The transmitters, expected to go on the air in November 2016, will be installed at the Radio Nepal, Singh Durbar, Kathmandu transmission site.
- GatesAir won the contract due to its ability to supply the most competitively-priced and complete offer, along with local support. The Radio Nepal contract also includes turnkey equipment, installation and commissioning services.
- GatesAir partner Tzone Digital will assist the regional GatesAir team with all service and support-related initiatives.
